Hey there! My name is Salome and I am the heart & hands behind Dezayna! 

I've always loved wearing earrings and enjoy switching them up often. A matching pair (or more) for every outfit, right? I've always loved being creative and learning something new. One day, I decided to make my own pair of earrings, and it turned out better than expected—this is how everything started to roll. Before that, I mostly spent my time behind the sewing machine, but after the birth of my third child, it became more difficult. Still, I occasionally sew something.

A trip through Africa by clay

Using polymer clay as my canvas, I translate the rich cultural heritage of Africa into wearable art (or at least I try to) . For me, these jewels are far more than just accessories; every color, pattern, and texture I choose tells a story—a journey of identity, a celebration of heritage, and an expression of boundless creativity.

Creating these pieces is my way of bringing the vibrant colors and patterns that inspire me to life. It is truly wonderful to see how a simple piece of clay can transform into a meaningful jewellry that carries its own narrative. I find it deeply rewarding to explore this cultural tapestry and translate it into something you can wear every day.
